Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between you and Family100 governing your use of our websites, mobile applications, and related services. By creating an account, accessing family spaces, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the service you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all referenced policies, including our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

Use of Service

You will use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, submit harmful content, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ data. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all laws applicable to you.

User Accounts

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account, maintain the security of your credentials, and promptly update any changes. You are responsible for all actions taken through your account and for ensuring that everyone who accesses the service through your account complies with these Terms.

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data and forms part of these Terms. By using the service you consent to our handling of personal data as described there.

Family and Child Use

Family100 is intended for parents, guardians, and educators. You must ensure that any child who engages with the service does so under your supervision and that you have obtained all necessary permissions to submit information about that child. You remain responsible for the content you create about family members.

Account Closure and Data Deletion

You may delete content or close your account at any time through Settings → Privacy → Delete Account or by emailing privacy@fam100.com. We respond to verified deletion requests within 30 days, except where we must retain limited information for legal, accounting, or safety purposes. Users who authenticate via Meta (Facebook) may also submit a deletion request at https://www.fam100.com/facebook/data-deletion in accordance with Meta’s platform requirements.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service immediately if you breach these Terms, pose a security or legal risk, fail to pay fees when applicable, or if we must do so to comply with law. Upon termination you must cease using the service, and we may delete or restrict access to content associated with your account.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, provided that you and Family100 may seek injunctive relief in any court with competent jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we make material changes we will provide advance notice through email or in-product messaging and indicate the ‘Last updated’ date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
