Logging an activity

  1. Tap Check in from the dashboard shortcut or inside the activity card you just completed.
  2. Select one or more participating children.
  3. (Optional) Add:
    • Notes about highlights or surprises
    • Photos or short clips
    • A mood rating so kids can reflect on the experience
  4. Adjust the completion time if you are backfilling yesterday’s activity.
  5. Press Save. Fam100 updates timelines, streaks, and recommendations in real time.

Batch logging

  • Need to catch up? Open Family → Children → Timeline and choose Add multiple check-ins to record several recent activities at once.
  • Each entry still respects approval rules and streak logic.

Approvals and moderation

  • Guardians with Editor or Admin roles approve pending check-ins submitted by Contributors or teens.
  • Enable Auto-approve for trusted members in Family → Settings → Approvals.
  • Reviewers can edit notes or add missing media before finalising.

Editing or deleting a check-in

  • Open the timeline entry and use the menu to adjust details, swap photos, or change participants.
  • Removing a check-in recalculates streaks, achievements, and category stats immediately.

Attachments & privacy

  • Photos and videos stay inside your family space; nothing is shared publicly without deliberate action.
  • Use Export on any entry to download media for printing or keepsakes.
  • Storage follows the same retention policies as the rest of your fam100 account.

Staying consistent

  • Turn on evening reminders (per family or per child) so you never forget to log a busy day.
  • Give older kids Contributor access—they love uploading their own photos and ratings.
  • Pair check-ins with the weekly recap email to spot streak gaps before they break.

Regular check-ins build a living scrapbook of your family’s growth while keeping progress insights accurate.
